About the Department
The department of zoology was established with an aim to provide quality education to students and to contribute for the development of animal science and zoological studies. The department places emphasis on laboratory components in the teaching curriculum labs is equipped with equipments and museum. The main objective of zoology department is to promote training in practical and conceptual skill in sub disciplines ranging from molecule cell biology through physiology and endocrinology, to study the population in both an ecological and evolutionary framework. The department Endeavour to encourage well renowned department after students through assorted academic and co – curricular activities. This field covers a wide range of topics – Agriculture, insect collection, evolution and biodiversity. Zoology provides insights into the incredible diversity on Earth from small insect to giant mammals.
